This app stores data locally on your device using local storage (for example SharedPreferences or similar on-device storage). The app does not require account registration. We do not operate our own backend servers to collect or store your joke content or app settings.
Depending on how you use the app, local data may include:
Built-in catalog: Jokes included with the app are stored in the application package and are available offline. Reading them does not send the joke text to us.
My Jokes (personal notebook): If you use the “My Jokes” feature, the joke texts you create, edit, or delete are stored only on your device, in separate notebooks per joke language (English / Russian). We do not upload your own jokes to our servers. You can remove them by deleting individual jokes in the app or by clearing the app’s data / uninstalling the app.
Personalized recommendations: When you use the recommendation feature, suggestions are calculated on your device based on jokes you saved as favorites (and, where applicable, recent jokes shown in the current session). We do not upload your favorites or joke history to our own servers for this feature.
We do not ask for your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone access, or other sensitive device data for the app’s own features.
Important: We publish this app on more than one app store. The advertising SDK integrated in your copy depends on where you downloaded the app. Only the section that matches your store applies to you.
If you installed this app from Google Play, it may use the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK to display ads (for example a banner at the top of the joke screen). Yandex and its advertising partners act as independent processors and handle data under Yandex’s policies and your device settings.
For ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related purposes, such services may process categories of information that typically include:
